The Parable of the Mosquito Eater

A few months ago, while driving to work, I noticed this mosquito eater in the corner of my windshield.



My immediate response was "Hi mosquito eater!...I know you can't hear me, but I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm barely hanging on too."

Then I caught myself saying, " But don't you worry, If only you could see, we are almost there and you are gonna make it! I know you don't really understand why the wind is blowing so hard, you'll just have to trust me that it won't be like this forever."

Then realizing what I had just said, tears began to stream down my face.
